Las canciones de la serie "Me llamo Earl"

Imagino que no sois muchos los que conocéis esta serie de culto, que por desgracia dejó de rodarse por la falta de presupuesto lo que suposo dejar la 4ª temporada a medias, con un inesperado e injusto "to be continued..."


El día que dí con ME LLAMO EARL haciendo zapping en la televisión, fué algo muy especial ya que dejé puesta La Sexta por la canción que sonaba: "Tuesday's Gone" de Lynyrd Skynyrd, y lógicamente me enganché (escasos minutos de terminarse el capítulo), por suerte le seguía otro y lo ví con muchas ganas (se trataba del 3er y 4º episodio de la 1ª temporada).

Desde ese día estuve obsesionado con no perderme ninguna de las emisiones, y si por lo que fuera no lo podía ver, al día siguiente lo veía a través de internet, ya que ese tipo de humor crítico con la sociedad norte-americana me resultaba de lo más adictivo y el personaje principal (Earl) me caía fenomenal.


Sus intérpretes principales son Jason Lee, Ethan Suplee, y Jaime Pressly. Lee interpreta a Earl J. Hickey, un delincuente de poca monta sin respeto por nada ni por nadie, que nada más ganar $100.000 en la lotería de un boleto comprado con dinero robado, pierde el boleto al ser atropellado por un coche. Mientras se encuentra convaleciente en el hospital su mujer le hace firmar el divorcio, y es entonces cuando, a través de la televisión, descubre el karma a raíz de un comentario de Carson Daly en su programa. El descubrimiento del karma, le hace replantearse su vida, a la que decide dar un giro a mejor. Es entonces cuando decide escribir una lista con todas las malas acciones que ha hecho con el lema de: "Si haces cosas buenas te pasarán cosas buenas" (Wikipedia).

Está claro que no voy a dedicar esta entrada a la parte cinéfila de la serie, sino a la musical, la banda sonora que acompaña cada una de las historias y peripecias que le ocurren a Earl, en la que suenan clásicos del rock como The Rolling Stones, Free, AC/DC, Harry Nilsson, Steppenwolf, Ted Nugent, Focus, Thin Lizzy, David Lee Roth, REO Speedwagon, Johnny Cash, Three Dog Night, Grateful Dead, Queen, Deep Purple, The Who...


Es posible que algunos de vosotros al ver la siguiente lista de temas que se pueden escuchar en Me llamo Earl, apostéis por darle una oportunidad y descubrirla, ésta sería mi intención la verdad, ya que os la recomiendo al 100%, para mí de lo mejor que han hecho en televisión.   2. jeje, hola Geles!! No conozco a mucha gente que le guste Me Llamo Earl, la gente veía más Prison Break, Perdidos o House... yo es que prefiero lo minoritario!

    Increible este post, la verdad que conocia la serie de nombre pero no la he visto quizas algun dia.. pero me tira pa atras eso de que no han seguido y la han dejado a medias... Interesante ver toda la musica que le han puesto joder, que pasada.

Uy, pues k no te tire eso pa' atrás!! la serie tiene algo de hilo, pero no pasa nada si los ves desordenados, te ríes igual, y sí, hay cosas que mejor si has visto los anteriores, pero no es esencial... Cada episodio trata de que Earl solucione una de las tantas cosas malas que ha hecho, de su lista y así el Karma le recompensa.

    Mi edad?? Para qué lo quieres saber? Soy mayor que tú seguro, hasta podría ser tu padre... jajaja!! Pues en abril cumplo 31, no ta mal, pero es que yo segun que bandas y según que conciertos no son para mi...

    Te dejo Ultra Fucking Metal Girl!!!! jeje...

  8. Hola compañeros , sabéis decir cuál es la canción que toca en el capítulo que Earl está en el patio de la prisión cuando aparece uniformado su hermano Randy ! Gracias y un saludo a todos !
